Buy NowDhulo, which means "Dust" in Nepali, is a 2020 Nepali social drama that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 28 February 2020 with a UA certificate. The film was directed by Pradhumna Mishra, who also appears in the movie, and the story and the screenplay were written by Subash Singh Basnet. The film was produced by Laxmi Gautam and Naniram Phunyal, presented by Sike Wagle, and distributed by the company RR Films. The movie is a socially themed film that presents the dreams, the struggles and the lifestyle of the poorest class of the society of Nepal, and it shows the life of the people who live in the dust of the city.
The story of the film revolves around the life of a rickshaw puller, who fights every day for the survival of his family in the harsh reality of the streets of Nepal. The character of the rickshaw puller is played by the popular comedian Buddhi Tamang in a serious role, and the film shows his struggle against the poverty, the social isolation and the indifference of the society. The movie illustrates the life of the Nepali labour class that is also socially isolated, and it tells the story of a poor man who dreams of a better life for his children even when the world around him pushes him down into the dust of the streets.
The cast of the film includes Buddhi Tamang, Agraj K.C., Srijana Subba, Pradhumna Mishra, Damodar Gajurel, Amrita Pandey and the child actor Sudip Karki in the main roles, with the veteran actor Nir Shah, Sushil Pokhrel and Laxmi Bardewa in the special roles. The cinematography of the movie was handled by Rabin Acharya, the editing was done by Arjun GC, and the music was composed by Joogle Dangol and Shankar Thapa, with the songs choreographed by Kabiraj Gahatraj and Ramji Lamichhane. The trailer of the film was released in a special program in the capital, and after its theatrical run the makers made the full movie public on the YouTube platform, where the story of the rickshaw puller of Nepal continues to touch the hearts of the viewers.
