Degree Maila, with the full title Degree Maila MA 3rd Class, is a 2024 Nepali social comedy drama film directed by the well-known filmmaker Ram Babu Gurung and based on a popular play of the same name written by the playwright Sanjai Ashok. The movie was produced under the banner of the Baasuri Films and featured a wall of the nation's best-loved comic actors, with Dayahang Rai in the title role and Aanch Shan Sharma as the female lead. The film was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 12 April 2024 with the celebration of the Nepali New Year, and it collected a big box office result of 5.05 crore Nepali rupees in its domestic run.

The story of the movie is set in a small town of the hills, where the local youth Dilli Ram, called by everyone Degree Maila, has returned with his Masters degree after spending the years in the city. The only graduate of the entire town becomes the pride of the community, and the leaders of the town immediately want to give him the job of local college. But the Degree Maila has come with the famous ego: he refuses the lowly job of being merely a book and admired the luxury of the big job of the home, and he wants to leave the town again to the capital with the bigger picture of life. The town, however, does not want to lose its only graduate so easily, and the leaders of the society try everything, including a dream of the love of the daughter of the college chairman, to catch him for the college.

The film is a piece of laughter about the education system, the status of the youth and the distance between the degrees and the real life, and the name of the film "MA 3rd Class" tells the audience of the reality of the hundreds of unemployed degree holders of the country. With a large cast of the comedy of the country, Kamal Mani Nepal's dialogue are the life of the scene. The director of the film is the veteran Ram Babu Gurung, the mind behind the classics of comedy, who brings the village of Nepal and its people on the screen of the year. The songs and the music, the rhythm of the folk and the lively performance of the lead actors made the picture a loving visit of the cinema family of the country. The film got a good collection and declared the year of the theater for the Nepali language cinema.
