Dui Rupaiyan is a Nepali comedy and action film that was released in theatres on 8 September 2017 with a PG certificate from the censor board. The film was directed by Asim Shah, and it was produced by Aasif Shah, Asim Shah and Nischal Basnet. The story, the screenplay and the dialogue of the film were written by Aasif Shah, Asim Shah and Ashish Regmi together, and the running time of the picture is 138 minutes.

The cast of the film included Nischal Basnet, Asif Shah, Rabindra Jha, Buddhi Tamang, Menuka Pradhan, Rajan Ishan, Prateek Raj Neupane, Tika Pahari, Swastima Khadka and Bisharad Basnet in the main roles. The story of the film follows two friends, Jureli and Dari, who smuggle the gold illegally from India to Nepal. Their boss gives them a Nepali two rupees note, whose serial number is sent to the Indian party, and one day, while conducting the smuggling, the friends lose the transaction slip of the two rupees note. The film entails their quest to find that note and to save their necks, all the while saving themselves from the local thugs, the police and their boss too.

The songs of the film were composed by Rajan Raj Shiwakoti and Roshan Thapa, and the background scores were the work of Shailesh Shrestha and Rohit Shakya. The song Kutu Ma Kutu of the film became one of the most viewed Nepali songs on YouTube, with more than 200 million views, and the film was presented as the story of how a small error can have a bevy of consequences.

Dui Rupaiyan was watched by the audience of the comedy in the halls of the major cities, and the picture remains one of the remembered comedies of the Nepali cinema of the year 201
