Pitambar is a 2025 Nepali action drama film directed by Krisha Chaulagain. The movie is produced on a lavish scale and stars Pradeep Khadka in the title role of Pitambar, supported by a big ensemble that includes Dayahang Rai, Saugat Malla, Anup Bikram Shahi, Suraksha Panta and Aaryan Sigdel, together with Gaurav Bista, Rabindra Jha, Surbir Pandit, Bishal Pahari, Pramod Agare and many more. The film was released in Nepali cinema halls on 11 April 2025 in 2D format and runs for about two hours and nineteen minutes, mixing intense action sequences with emotional family drama.

The story follows Pitambar, a fearless and tactful warrior who has fought many hardships since he was a child. Being a rejected child from an early age, he grew up with the ups and downs of life, and became as hard as rock. Parasi, his home, is ruled by a network of oppressive characters who have ruined the prestigious image of his mother. Pitambar sets out to destroy the empire of these wrongdoers in Parasi and to restore the honour of his mother, but along the way he discovers one shocking truth after another. The circumstances are always against him, yet his mother is always there to embrace him, to lead him and to support him, and her love for him gives him the strength to continue his bloody quest for justice.

The rest of the cast of Pitambar rounds out the world of the film with memorable characters: Vimal plays Bhawani, Gaurang plays the role and Surbir Pandit performs as the comedian, who is married, Divya Dev appears as pandas and Divya Rayamajhi is seen as Maura, while legends of the local tracks. The film brings a big budget period look to the screen and was made at a reported cost of about four to five crore Nepali rupees. Reviews note that Pitambar finished its theatrical run with a collection of about 4.7 crore rupees, and the makers finally put the entire movie on YouTube for free, so that after the halls the film reached a much wider audience online.
