Aavash is a 2015 Nepali love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 9 January 2015 with a UA certificate from the censor board. The film was directed by Surendra Poudel, who also wrote the story together with Hemraj BC, and it was produced by Govinda Shahi, Pawan Shrestha and Dipak Shahi under the banners of Glossy Pictures and Creative Films, with Ravi Shakya as the co-producer. The movie is a story of the new generation love that showcases the psychology of the youngsters towards their relationships, and it was one of the much awaited films of the beginning of 2015.

The plot of the film revolves around the friendship and the love life of a group of young friends. Rabina, played by Prakriti Shrestha, dumps her true lover Aayam, played by Samyam Puri, to marry an NRN, a Nepali living abroad. The film follows the ups and downs of the friendship and the love of these youngsters, and it shows how even small incidents can bring huge changes in their lives. According to the director, every person of every age will be able to relate with the story, because the movie deals with the small things of daily life, the love, the betrayal and the emotions of the youth of Nepal. A memorable part of the film is the road trip of the friends to Pokhara, where the beauty of the city has been captured nicely with the exciting sequences of paragliding and the zip flyer ride.

The cast of the film included Nisha Adhikari, Ashma DC, Salon Basnet, Sunil Rawal, Rabindra Khadka, Hiuwala Gautam, Raju Lama, Shanti Nepali and Nancy Thapa in the main and supporting roles. The cinematography of the movie was handled by Purushottam Pradhan, the music was composed by Sujendra D. Karki and Prakash Nepali, and the action sequences were choreographed by Chandra Pantha. The song Yatra of the film, sung by Kamal Khatri and Sashi Rawal, was released before the movie and became popular among the youth. Aavash runs for about two hours and ten minutes, and after its theatrical run the full movie was uploaded for free on the YouTube platform for the viewers to enjoy.
