Mero Euta Saathi Chha, which means "I Have a Friend", is a 2009 Nepali love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 28 August 2009 with a UA certificate. The film was the directorial debut of Sudarshan Thapa, who later became one of the top romantic directors of the Nepali cinema, and it was produced by Prabhu Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana under the banner of Eyecore Films. The story of the movie was written by Subash Singh Basnet, and the picture is a remake of the popular Korean movie Millionaire First Love. With a budget of about one crore rupees, the film became a blockbuster and set a new trend for the industry.

The story begins with a young guy from an affluent family, Jay Shumsher JBR, played by Aaryan Sigdel, who lives his life on his own terms and does things as he pleases, but he is good at heart. Then there is an innocent young girl named Shikha, played by Namrata Shrestha, who lives in a village and waits for her childhood friend. What the two share is the memory of dancing in the rain with their closest friend during the childhood, and the film follows how their lives connect again through the love, the sacrifice and the beautiful memories. The movie also shows the story of Ragav, played by Jiwan Luitel, and the love triangle that develops around the two main characters.

The cast of the film included Aaryan Sigdel, Namrata Shrestha, Jiwan Luitel, Sushma Karki and Zenisha Moktan in the main roles, with the actor Dayahang Rai in the role of a funny college student, Rekha Thapa in a cameo appearance and Ashok Sharma as the lawyer Bikram Thapa. The cinematography of the movie was handled by Rajesh Shrestha, who captured the scenic beauty of Nepal at precise moments, and the music was composed by Sugam Pokharel and Bipin Acharya.
