Buy NowAjhai Pani, which means "Still", is a 2015 Nepali love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 27 February 2015 with a UA certificate. The film is the final movie of the late director Alok Nembang, who had earlier directed the hit films Sano Sansar and Kohi Mero and who passed away in November of 2014, and it became one of the most awaited films of its time because of that reason. The story and the screenplay of the movie were written by Ramsharan Pathak, the film was produced by Poonam Gautam and Sudarshan Thapa under the banners of Poonam Entertainment and Sudarshan Thapa Production, and the movie marked the debut of the director Sudarshan Thapa as an actor.
The story portrays a romance between Kushal, played by Sudarshan Thapa, and Yunisha, played by the actress Pooja Sharma. Kushal is a young man of the middle class, and the film follows the pure love of the couple against the family and the social differences. The movie also features the actress Surakshya Panta in the role of Shaili, who becomes a part of the complicated love story, and the veteran actress Mithila Sharma appears in the role of the grandmother of Kushal, with the actor Ramsharan Pathak as the grandfather. Bijay Lama plays the role of the uncle of Yunisha, who creates obstacles in the path of the young lovers, and Bishal Dhungana and Puspa Khadka play the supporting roles of Bhuwan and Biren.
The cinematography of the film was handled by Rajesh Shrestha, the editing was done by Pritam Pandey, and the music of the movie was composed by Sachin Singh, Mahesh Khadka, Hari Lamsal and Rajan Raj Siwakoti, with the lyrics written by Dr. Krishna Hari Baral, Bijay Siwakoti, Mahesh Khadka and Sanjeeb Thapa. The film was released on the same date as the movie Mission Paisa Reloaded, and it remains a special film in the history of the Nepali cinema as the last work of the director Alok Nembang.
