Classic is a 2016 Nepali musical romantic film directed by Dinesh Raut and produced by Subas Giri under the banners of Subash Entertainment and Aaryan Sigdel Entertainment. The script was written by Chhetan Gurung. The film stars Aaryan Sigdel and Namrata Shrestha in the lead roles, and it tells the unusual and touching love story of two visually impaired musicians.

Classic was released in Nepali cinemas on February 12, 2016, with a running time of 138 minutes. Made on a budget of about 1.25 crore rupees, the film collected approximately 4.10 crore rupees at the box office, making it one of the most successful Nepali films of 2016.

The story follows Samay, played by Aaryan Sigdel, a band performer who loses his eyesight and becomes a part of a Blind Aashram, an institution for the blind. There he meets Dristi, played by Namrata Shrestha, an aspiring female singer living at the aashram. Believing in her talent, Samay gives her a helping hand, and her singing career begins to soar, eventually eclipsing his own. The film is a musical journey of two lovers who go through love, twists, turbulence, success and failure in their lives.

The supporting cast includes Romi Ghimire, Sushil Kafle, Shishir Rana, Amitesh Shah, Dayahang Rai, Bishwa Basnet, Sunil Rawal and Samuna K.C. Actress Priyanka Karki appeared in a guest role as Jenny, and her appearance in the film was kept a secret during production, surprising audiences at the release.

The music of the film was composed by Shailesh Shrestha and Rohit Shakya, and the popular songs played an important role in the success of the movie. The cinematography was handled by Rajesh Shrestha, and the editing was done by Surendra Poudel and Pritam Pandey.

Classic swept the awards of the year, winning the best film award at the 8th Dcine Awards, where Aaryan Sigdel and Namrata Shrestha also won the best actor and best actress awards. The film won the Kamana Film Award for best actress as well, and Priyanka Karki won the best supporting actress award for her guest role.
