Hajar Juni Samma is a 2019 Nepali romantic drama film directed by Bikash Raj Acharya, with the screenplay written by the director along with Samipya Raj Timilsina, and produced by Bishal Chambling under the banner of Mata Pathibhara Films. The film was released in theaters on 15 August 2019 with a runtime of approximately 2 hours and 4 minutes. The film stars Aaryan Sigdel in the lead role of Siddhanth, with Priyanka Karki, Sanchita Luitel, Swastima Khadka, Salon Basnet, Shivahari Paudel, Akhilesh Pradhan and Anubhav Regmi in the principal cast. It is a family-oriented love story with the nostalgic feel of the old Nepali songs, and its title, which translates to 'For a Thousand Lifetimes', reflects the eternal quality of the love it portrays.

The story centers on Siddhanth, a retired singer who owns a guitar shop in Pokhara and has two adopted sons, Nishant, played by Salon Basnet, and Atharba, played by Akhilesh Pradhan. Siddhanth never married, fourteen years after meeting the love of his life, Maya, in Sikkim. After being separated from her, he found solace in alcohol and the music of his shop. Now he desires to see his son married to Avantika, a medical student from Sikkim, played by Swastima Khadka. But his sons trick him into taking a trip to Sikkim to search for Maya, the love he lost fourteen years ago, and Avantika hitches a ride with them along the way, having discovered that her own boyfriend is engaged to her best friend.

Throughout the road trip, Siddhanth believes Avantika is perfect for his elder son Atharba, and he plays matchmaker, while Avantika and Atharba begin to develop feelings for each other. The search for Maya intensifies with the help of her sister, but hope turns to frustration as Maya is nowhere to be found. Siddhanth discovers that a begrudging friend of Maya's had once deceived both of them, showing each a fake wedding invitation that made them believe the other had moved on. In the climax, the group organizes a concert to lure Maya out, and Siddhanth is finally reunited with the woman he loved, whom he finds living as a nun in a monastery, where the long lost lovers are finally reunited.

The film was appreciated for its emotional story, the beautiful cinematography of Purushottam Pradhan and the performances of its cast, and it remains one of the heartwarming romantic dramas of 2019 about love, memory and the search for closure.
