Mero Love Story, which means "My Love Story", is a 2011 Nepali love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 3 October 2011 with a UA certificate. The film was directed by Sudarshan Thapa, who had become famous with his debut movie Mero Euta Saathi Chha, and it was produced under the same production team of the earlier hit, with Prabhu Shumsher Rana as the producer. The movie runs for about three hours and it was made in the tradition of the modern romantic films of the Karan Johar style of filmmaking, with the designer dresses, the clubs of Kathmandu and the peppy numbers.

The story follows three young people of the modern Nepal. Aavash, played by Aaryan Sigdel, is the most sought after guy of his group, always around with the prettiest ladies. He does not believe in relationships and is happy being known as a ladies man. Nisha, played by the actress Reecha Sharma, is from Pokhara. She is emotional and serious about the relationships, but she is not ready to get married soon. Vinay, played by Vinay Shrestha, is a non-resident Nepali who has come to the country in search of a Nepali bride, and he is a childhood buddy of Aavash. Nisha meets Aavash on a bus while she is going back to her hometown, and later she finally nods to the wedding bells and is soon to tie the knot with Vinay. The three befriend each other in Pokhara, where Nisha lives with her mother and her grandmother.

One evening party with countless tequila shots and the room that the three share together changes the definition of their lives forever: Nisha is now pregnant and all three are unaware who the father is. This is the turning point of the film, and the main theme of the movie is that a man and a woman can never be just friends. The cast of the film also includes the veteran actress Tripti Nadakar as the mother of Nisha. The film received a mixed response from the critics, with the review of the Republica newspaper praising the performance of Reecha Sharma but criticizing the slow screenplay of the long movie. Mero Love Story remains known as one of the most discussed romantic films of the Nepali cinema of 2011.
