Sano Sansar, which means "Small World", is a 2008 Nepali romantic comedy that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 12 September 2008 with a UA certificate. The film was the directorial debut of Alok Nembang, who later became a famous director of the Nepali cinema, and it was written by Mohammad Hanif. The movie is the second Nepali HD film ever made, after the hit film Kagbeni, and it was heavily influenced by the popular Korean movie My Sassy Girl and the English language movie You Have Got Mail. The film has a massive star cast of the young generation of the Nepali cinema.

The story of the movie follows the young lovers Ravi and Reetu in the small world of the modern Kathmandu. Ravi, played by the actor Mahesh Shakya, who is popularly known by his stage name Karma, is a young man of the city, and Reetu, played by the actress Namrata Shrestha, is the girl of his dreams. The film follows the funny and the romantic situations of the couple, with the friendship, the confusion and the comedy of the modern love, and the veteran actor Neer Shah plays the role of the police officer father of Reetu. Jiwan Luitel plays the role of the friend Siza, Vinay Shrestha plays Suraj and Sushila Rayamajhi plays the mother of Ravi.

The cast of the film also includes Arjun Shrestha as Dr. Chandra Thapa, the father of Ravi, Puskar Gurung as the lodge owner and Bholaraj Sapkota as the go kart mechanic. The movie was one of the biggest successes of the Nepali cinema of 2008, and it introduced the new faces of Karma, Jiwan Luitel and Namrata Shrestha to the big screen. In the year 2021, after the end of the COVID 19 lockdown in the country, Sano Sansar was shown again in the theaters of Nepal after thirteen years of its original release, in a decision taken by the exhibitors to bring the audience back to the halls after the long pandemic.
