Ek Din Ek Raat (which translates to "One Day One Night") is a 2010 Nepali horror and suspense thriller film directed by Dev Kumar Shrestha. The movie was produced by Nirmal Ratna Shakya under the banner of Cinema Nepal Entertainment, and it was one of the very few suspense thrillers ever made in Nepali cinema at the time of its release. The film was promoted with the tagline "Expect the Unexpected".

Ek Din Ek Raat was released in Nepali cinemas on December 31, 2010, with a running time of about 130 minutes. The film stars Vinay Shrestha, Deeya Maskey, Karma Shakya, Anup Baral, Menuka Pradhan and Prabesh Giri, with Pooja Lama, Gauri Malla and B.S. Rana in supporting roles. Anup Baral, who had won the best actor award for his earlier film Dasdhunga, also served as the casting director of the movie.

The story follows Utsav, a journalist played by Vinay Shrestha, who files an article about an unseen supernatural power to his boss at the newspaper, played by B.S. Rana. The boss refuses to publish the piece without real evidence. To complete his project, Utsav gathers his friends: Ichhya, played by Deeya Maskey, Sabhya, played by Jasper Neupane, Jen, played by Karma, Rooshan, played by Menuka Pradhan, Nil, played by Prabesh Giri, and Pralaya, played by Anup Baral. Together they set out on a quest to find the unseen power that is believed to be responsible for a series of unexplained fatal accidents on a mysterious highway. The entire story unfolds within one day and one night.

The film's background score was composed by Tsujil Karmacharya, a score that reviewers praised as far better than the usual loud music heard in Nepali films. The music and sound design were noted as among the strongest elements of the movie.

Critics appreciated the film for daring to experiment with a genre that Nepali filmmakers rarely attempted, praising the dialogues, humour and cinematography, while also noting that the suspense lost its grip in the second half of the story.
