Ramkahani is a 2018 Nepali horror love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 7 September 2018 with a PG certificate from the censor board. The film was directed by Sudarshan Thapa, who also wrote the story of the picture, and it was produced by Thapa and Puja Sharma under the banner of Sudarshan Thapa Production. The screenplay of the movie was written by Dinesh Neupane and Mahesh Dawadi, and the picture was a mix of at least three different genres, the love story, the horror and the comedy, which made it a complete package of all genres.

The story of the film is the love story of Maya, played by Puja Sharma, and Ram, played by Aakash Shrestha. Ram is a tourist guide and Maya runs a homestay where both of them fall in love. At the beginning of the movie, Ram and his friends are shown as hostages in an unnamed Arabian country, and the group is eventually freed and all of them return to their village. The love story of Ram and Maya is the highlight of the first half, and its only song, Timro Lagi Ma, elevates the level of the romance in the film. The second half, however, takes an unpredictable twist with a series of supernatural events, when the man falls in love with the ghost spirit of his girlfriend, and the paranormal activities overshadow the love saga of the first half. Janardan, played by Jitu Nepal, appears as the obstacle of their love life and the only antagonist of the film.

The cast of the film included Kedar Ghimire, Wilson Bikram Rai and Rabindra Jha in the roles of the friends of Ram, Shishir Rana in the role of the father of Ram, and Rajaram Poudyal, Sunita Shrestha, Bishal Pahari, Shovit Basnet and Lok Bikram Malla in the supporting roles. The reviewer of the Republica wrote that the mixture of the two tales does nothing but confuses the audiences, and advised the viewers to remain seated till the end to clear off the confusion. The film runs for about two hours and twenty four minutes, and after its theatrical run the full movie was uploaded for free on the YouTube platform, where it continues to find new viewers.
