Pinjada Back Again is a 2018 Nepali crime action film directed by Himal K.C., with the story, screenplay and dialogues written by Maunata Shrestha. The film is the sequel to the superhit movie Pinjada, which marked the acting debut of action star Nikhil Upreti and made him famous across Nepal after he performed a daring stunt of jumping from the top of a seven-storey building.

Pinjada Back Again was released in Nepali cinemas on January 18, 2018. The sequel features a new cast and crew, with the exception of Nikhil Upreti, who returns in the leading role. Alongside him, the film stars Sara Shirpaili, Sushmita K.C., Pukar Bhattarai, Jack Shrestha, Kushagraha Bhattarai and Sara Adhikari.

The film continues the crime themes of the original, following the action-packed journey of its hero as he faces criminals and dangerous situations. As a sequel, the movie was designed to give fans of the original the high-voltage action and drama they expected, while also introducing fresh faces to the story.

Nikhil Upreti was a major draw for the film. The action star had been quite busy after his comeback in the Nepali film industry in Bhairav, and the Pinjada series held special significance for his career. Interestingly, the film's story was developed by Maunata Shrestha, who would later write and develop other significant scripts in Nepali cinema.

Before the release, the makers organised a song release program in Kathmandu on October 12, where the folk-tune song "Yeta Pani Chaina Uta Pani Chhaina" was unveiled. The song featured Nikhil and Sara in a lively choreographed performance by Ramji Lamichhane. Nikhil admitted at the event that he had a tough time dancing to the folk tune, adding a fun talking point for the promotions.

Pinjada Back Again was shot with cinematographer Saurav Lama behind the camera. Released at a competitive time in the Nepali market, the film aimed to repeat the success of its predecessor with its mix of action, drama and star power.
