Gangster Blues is a 2017 Nepali action love story that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 18 August 2017 with a G certificate. The film was written and directed by Hem Raj B.C., who had earlier made the hit films Hostel, Jerry and Gajalu, and it was produced under the banner of the BC Motion Pictures. The movie runs for about two hours and eighteen minutes, and it was shot in the cities of Nepalgunj and Achham, taking fifty nine days of the shooting. The film was promoted as an action packed love story based on the lifestyle of the youngsters turned gangsters of the western Nepal.

The story revolves around two protagonists. Aakash, played by the actor Aashirman Desraj Joshi, is expelled from his college in Kathmandu and gets back to his hometown of Nepalgunj. There he finds his school crush Aarzoo, played by the actress Anna Sharma, who is a medical student at the Nepalgunj Medical College. Aarzoo has a past: her mother committed suicide when she was young, and she is repelled by the violence. Aakash starts working for a local gang for the easy money to impress Aarzoo, because he belongs to a middle class family while she belongs to a well off family. As the time goes by, the couple starts falling for each other, and side by side the involvement of Aakash in the gang grows, turning him into a gangster. The antagonist Noor kidnaps the brother of Aakash and murders him, which leads Aakash to plan the revenge.

Aakash intentionally gets into a street fight which drags him into the jail and further into a murder charge. Aarzoo feels cheated when the doings of Aakash are exposed, and she leaves him as he has become very violent. The film shows how the couple moves forward and deals with the consequences they face. The cast of the film includes Samyam Puri, Subash Thapa, Pramod Agrahari, Ram Babu Gurung, Anupam Sharma, Aruna Karki and Rojisa Shahi. The cinematography was handled by Shailendra D. Karki, and the song Ajambary Laula Pirati of the film became a huge hit with over twenty million views on the YouTube. The full movie is available to watch for free on the YouTube platform.
