Bir Bikram is a 2016 Nepali drama romance that was released in the cinemas of Nepal on 19 August 2016 with a G certificate. The film was directed by Milan Chams and produced under the banner of Chams Entertainment, the production house of the director. The movie runs for about two hours and sixteen minutes, and it features the actor Dayahang Rai in the title role of Bir, with the actress Deeya Pun and the actor Anoop Bikram Shahi in the main roles. The film was promoted with the tagline of the friendship and the love story of the village of Nepal.

The story of the movie follows Bir and Bikram, two best friends who have different aspirations for their future. When Bikram lacks the means to educate himself, Bir tries to assist him, but the two friends part their ways at the age of six. Before parting, Bir gives Bikram a one rupee coin inscribed with the words Bir Bikram. Bir becomes a country boy and a farmer, while Bikram pursues the education and becomes a teacher in Kathmandu. Years later, Bikram returns to the village, but neither of the two friends recognizes the other. Bikram tries to unite Bir with the girl Joon, played by Deeya Pun, whom Bir adores but never expresses his feelings to, because of his promise to keep her safe.

Joon and Bir love each other, but the wealthy Aaitey, played by Arpan Thapa, the richest man of the village, is also enamored with Joon and approaches her father for an arranged marriage. In the middle of the movie, the mother of Bir passes away, and he exhausts all the means to gather the funds for her funeral, even selling a donkey that had been his companion since he was eighteen. When Joon chooses to flee with Bir, Aaitey attempts to attack him, but Bikram intervenes and saves his life. The cast of the film also includes Najir Husen as the village storyteller Maney, Shishir Rana as the father of Joon and Basanta Bhatta.
